The Vriesenhof winery is situated in the Paradyskloof Valley between Stellenbosch and the Helderberg Mountains. The owner is former rugby star Jan Coetzee, who has already made a name for himself in the wine industry with Kanonkop and Bouwland. The folk hero, always striving to create the extraordinary and bring out the best, has dedicated his life to wine in a positive sense after finishing his sporting career. First-class care of the vines, radical quantity limits and meticulous work in the wine cellar have also made Vriesenhof one of the best producers in the Cape.Tasting notes:Deep red in the glass.
