The Irish whiskey distillery Teeling Distillery was opened in Dublin in 1782. In 2015, the distillery was renovated and opened its doors just a few meters from the original location. The distillery has become a real tourist magnet in recent years, which is probably due to the fact that visitors get excellent insights into the production process. The well-known Irish distillery is launching a new series of Dublin Distilled Single Pot Still whiskies - WONDERS OF WOOD. This was awarded as the world's best single pot still bottling in 2022. Unique styles of wood are used for maturation. In collaboration with the Tree Council of Ireland, the Wonders of Wood series contributes to planting only native Irish tree species on their own land in the Wicklow area. 50% unmalted and 50% malted barley are used in the production process. After triple distillation, the whiskey is aged in Virgin Chinkapin Oak barrels from America. The bottling takes place without chill filtration. Tasting notes:Color: Amber.
