The Polz winery is located in southern Styria. The geographical location of the winery is ideal for wine growing. The good balance between hours of sunshine and precipitation as well as the nature of the soil are decisive for the production of high quality wine.Tasting notes:Dark cherry red in the glass. In the nose floral spices with notes of dried fruit. Delicate tannin structure with a good bite on the palate, dense body and good length, a very animating red wine cuvée. Grape varieties: 50% Zweigelt, 25% Blaufränkisch, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. Ageing: 18 months in used barriques. Soil: Muschelkalk and loam. Acidity: 5.6 g/l. Residual sugar: 2.5 g/l. Drinking temperature: 14-16 °C. Closure: screw cap. Storage potential: 4-6 years. The red wine harmonizes very well with meat dishes such as game, duck and beef.
