The Nc'nean distillery is located on the Morvern Peninsula, in western Scotland. In March 2017, the distillery was opened - this calls itself the first organic whiskey distillery. The Nc'nean ORGANIC Single Malt Scotch Whisky HUNTRESS 2022 is the first spring release of the distillery. This whisky is made with yeast. Three different types of yeast are used, including the Distila Max RM yeast strain. The whiskey is aged for three years in STR red wine and ex-bourbon casks. The bottling is done without coloring and chill filtration. It is a limited edition of 4,447 bottles. Tasting notes:Color: Gold. Nose: Fruity, fresh, notes of tropical fruit, honey. Taste: Rich, notes of honeycomb, tropical fruit. Finish: Long lasting. Whether neat & chilled or as a whiskey six - always delicious. Whisky Six: 2 parts Nc'nean Organic to 4 parts soda water, with plenty of ice. Finished with a sprig of fresh mint.
