The wine-growing region of Canuntum is characterised by the Pannonian microclimate. During the day, summer temperatures prevail in this region, while at night the landscape is cooled by the Danube. This perfect interaction allows the grapes to ripen harmoniously. The gravel-rich, loamy and chalky soils give the grapes their distinctive aromas. Tasting notes:Garnet red in the glass. Intense aroma of red berries, rose hips and spices. Very expressive in the taste: Long lasting with a velvety elegant finish. Grape variety: Pinot Noir. Terroir: Gravel, clay, limestone. Harvest: Mid to late September. Maturation: In used barrique barrels. Residual sugar: 1,0 g/l. Acidity: 5,1 g/l. Drinking temperature: 16-18°C. Storage potential: Until 2027. This wine is excellent with strong meat with delicate spices, as well as with mature cheese.
