The winery K & K Kirnbauer is located in Deutschkreuz and covers 40 hectares. For the production of the wines only own grape material is used. The Kirnbauer family winery attaches great importance to tradition and quality. Tasting notes:Dark garnet in the glass. The nose is very intense blackcurrant and wild berries. On the palate very harmonious, after cassis and dark cherries with fine toasted aromas. Long lasting and full-bodied finish. Grape varieties: 39% Blaufränkisch, 31% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 3% Syrah. Aging: 18 months in barrique. Soil: clay, sand. Acidity: 5,4 g/l. Residual sugar: 1,0 g/l. Storage potential: Until 2033. Bottling: May 2021 Drinking temperature: 17°C. This wine is excellent with juicy medallions of veal fillet and lamb, as well as with morel risotto.
