Silvia Heinrich successfully continues the winery after taking over from her father Johann Heinrich. The best red wine sites are around Deutschkreutz, Goldberg, Hochberg and Siglos. The winery covers 37 hectares of vineyards. The flagship grape variety of Heinrich is the Blaufränkisch. Already 80% of the vineyards are Blaufränkisch land. On the occasion of VieVinum 2008, the Heinrich family launched a new cuvée - a "small terra o." - on the market: Maestro. The wine is dedicated both to the pleasure-seeking customers and to the Maestro, the winemaker who accompanies the wine from the vineyard to bottle maturity and provides inspirational support. Tasting notes:Radiant ruby garnet in the glass. In the nose powerful, elegant and fruity. Harmonious acidity, complex, juicy after ripe plums on the palate. Long lasting in the finish Grape varieties: Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot. Aging: 20 months in small oak barrels. Soil: clay, limestone, gravel. Acidity: 5,8 g/l. Residual sugar: 1,4 g/l. Drinking temperature: 16-18°C. Storage potential: 8-10 years. The wine goes very well with roasts, lamb or spicy cheeses.
