The Hannes Reeh winery is located in the well-known wine-growing region of Andau, which is close to Lake Neusiedl. With 2400 hours of sunshine, Andau is one of the sunniest places in Austria. The vines grow on gravelly soils and have to be content with very little rainfall (450mm). Hannes Reeh has been solely responsible for the vinification of the wines since 2007. The winemaker is an unconventional person, self-confident and single-mindedly pursues his plans. Tasting notes:Dark ruby red in the glass. In the nose after soft fruit and fine notes after cocoa. At the palate very elegant with fine extract sweetness, pleasant tannins and well structured. Long lasting in the finish. Grape variety: Zweigelt. Maturation: steel tank. Residual sugar: 1,4 g/l. Acidity: 4,7 g/l. Soil: Gravel. Serving temperature: 16 - 18 °C. Closure: screw cap. Storage potential: Until 2026. The red wine goes very well with beef.
