In the legendary "No. 1 Vault", the old stone vault on the edge of Loch Indaal, the magical character of Islay and centuries-old traditions combine to create a single malt whisky with complex balance, mild Islay smokiness, maritime minerality and a wealth of fresh stone fruit flavours.
Bowmore Timeless, a whisky definitely marked by time.
This limited edition bottling is matured for 15 years in ex-sherry and bourbon casks and then aged for a further 12 years in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts to preserve its unique character.

Nose: Fruity cooked plums, plum jam, notes of currants, raisins, sultanas, cream caramel, maple syrup, licorice, grilled orange peel, smoked seaweed.
Taste: Sweet, chestnut honey, intense beeswax, fresh leather, tobacco, roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate, notes of oak.
Finish: Long lasting, smoked wood, dried fruit, hints of incense.Â
