The Distell Group presents the Alchemy Series of blended Scotch whisky Black Bottle, this includes two bottlings: Double Cask and Islay Smoke. The Black Bottle Double Cask is a blend of malts that mature in Spanish sherry casks and a 12-year-old grain that comes from a wine cask. A fruity character with sherry cask flavours. Tasting notes:Colour: Amber. Nose: Blackcurrants, plums, Seville oranges, walnuts, notes of coffee cake. Taste: Soft, spicy, warm, cherries, raspberries, notes of vanilla cream. Finish: Long lasting, brown sugar, toffee, hints of red berries.
