The original Glasgow distillery was built in 1770 - later the distillery was taken over and eventually even closed.
In 2013, however, there was a ray of hope. The distillery was newly founded and production started again in 2014.
For this whisky, finest barley malt is used, which is distilled in traditional copper pot stills.
The clear water of Loch Katrine and the maturation in oak casks creates a truly refined whisky with a natural colouring.
Nose: Fruity aromas, cherries, caramel, toffee, almonds, liquorice, vanilla, tea leaves.
Taste: Smooth and harmonious, ripe pears, vanilla, cheesecake, chocolate.
Finish: Long lasting, clean, honey, vanilla.
